1. Registrar role
Raffled UK Limited, trading as Dot.st, is an accredited registrar (or registrar reseller, as applicable) for .st domain names. This Registrar Agreement governs registry-facing services: registration, renewal, transfer, nameserver updates, contact management, and related operations available in your account portfolio.
This agreement is in addition to our Terms of Service and applies whenever you register or manage .st names through Dot.st.
2. Registry authority
2.1 The .st registry (and its policies) is the authoritative source for domain availability, lifecycle status, dispute procedures, and WHOIS publication rules.
2.2 We transmit your commands via EPP or approved interfaces. Registry acceptance or rejection is final for technical outcomes.
2.3 Registry policy changes may affect pricing, contact formats, DNSSEC, transfers, or deletion rules without prior notice.
3. Registrant obligations
You agree to:
- provide accurate, complete registrant and contact data and update it within 7 days of any change (or faster if registry requires);
- respond promptly to WHOIS accuracy, registrant verification, and legal notice inquiries;
- use domains lawfully and not for phishing, malware, spam, or rights infringement;
- maintain working abuse contact reachability;
- comply with DNSSEC, transfer lock, and auth code security practices we enable or recommend.
False or proxy-only data may lead to suspension or cancellation under registry rules.
4. Services we provide
Subject to registry and system availability, Dot.st may offer:
- domain search, registration, and shopping-cart checkout;
- renewal (single- and multi-year where supported);
- inbound and outbound transfers;
- nameserver and glue host management;
- registrant contact profiles linked to your portfolio;
- WHOIS lookup tools;
- pending registration status while asynchronous jobs complete.
We do not offer registry deletion of live domains from our interface for user-initiated deletes where policy forbids it; lifecycle follows registry rules.
5. Pricing and payment
Registration and renewal fees are displayed before checkout and charged upon successful submission unless otherwise stated. Fees are non-refundable after registry success (see Sales Policy).
6. Transfers and auth codes
6.1 Outbound transfers require your explicit auth code release and may be subject to lock periods.
6.2 Inbound transfers depend on losing registrar cooperation and registry status. We do not guarantee transfer completion timelines.
6.3 Marketplace escrow transfers may use separate member-to-member workflows on Premium.st while registry records update.
7. Suspension and cancellation
We or the registry may suspend or cancel domains for:
- inaccurate WHOIS data;
- non-payment of renewals;
- UDRP/URS or court orders;
- abuse or illegal use;
- breach of this agreement or registry policy.
8. Disputes
Domain disputes (UDRP, URS, local court actions) are handled under registry and ICANN-style rules applicable to .st. We may implement required holds. We are not a party to your dispute with third parties except as the registrar of record.
9. Data publication
Registrant data you supply may be published in WHOIS/RDAP as required by registry policy. Privacy or proxy services, if offered, will be described separately.
10. Limitation of liability
Registry outages, propagation delays, and third-party DNS failures are outside our reasonable control. Liability caps in our Terms of Service apply to registrar services.
11. Changes
We may update this agreement to reflect registry or operational changes. The published version at /p/registrar-agreement controls.
