How your maximum bid works
Auction detail
The number below is a floor, not a cap — you may enter any whole-dollar amount at or above the lowest allowed max bid (e.g. $2,000 when the floor is $1,000). If more than one customer backorders the same name, we open a public Premium.st auction. Your maximum bid is the most you agree to pay; competing backorders enter with their own maximums and the auction decides the winner up to those caps.
- Only you backorder this name — if we catch it at the registry drop, you pay up to your maximum bid (not more).
- Two or more backorders — a public contest auction opens on Premium.st; highest valid bidder wins.
- We reserve a security deposit or payment hold (wallet, card, or wire for premium names) according to label length — not necessarily the full maximum bid upfront.
